Traditions from Beyond the Vale

Traditions from Beyond the Vale is a third party rules supplement for the Dragonbane TTRPG.

In this supplement you will find many new options for player characters and an extensive chapter on Alchemy mechanics.
All these new options try to be as faithful as possible to the base game, both mechanics-wise and lore-wise.
Alchemy, for example, is not just magic for non-mages but a new source of temporary powers that requires a bit of planning.
Similarly, the new Innate Abilities give you more character variety while being inspired by the preexisting lore of each Kin.

• A total of 30 new Innate Abilities for all Kin in the base Rulebook and Bestiary.
• 2 new professions: Alchemist and Physician.
• 6 new Heroic Abilities.
• New alchemical gear and rules for obsidian, an alternative to metal that allows mages to cast spells while wielding a wider range of weapons.
• A new secondary skill, Alchemy, complete with rules for:
  • Learning Formulae.
  • Harvesting ingredients from Monsters, Plants and purchasing them in shops.
  • Crafting 3 new types of Alchemical Items: Elixirs, Greases and Bombs.
  • Random Tables for Alchemical Crafting Mishaps and Elixir Mixing Mishaps.
  • A total of 79 alchemical items to craft.
• 2 new magic schools, Necromancy and Illusion, for a total of:
  • 6 new magic tricks
  • 26 new spells

• A bonus pdf with 4 NPCs, including  their backstory, stat block and an adventure seed each.

• A Foundry VTT module with all the book's contents
